STEM Workshop Day 2018

Year 8 pupils took part in a STEM Day on Friday 9th March. The pupils took part in workshops dealing with electrical vehicles, modelling battery operated cars then changing the gear ratio to see how this affected speed. Emphasis was also placed on changing legislation on fossil fuel vehicles. The rapid introduction of self drive vehicles and platooning lorries using similar technology. Many thanks to STEM for facilitating the workshops and in particular to James Connor who delivered it.
