LSC New Age Kurling - 2019

As part of the Inclusive Sports & Leisure Initiative, ‘Get Out Get Active and Every Body Active 2020’, LSC J were offered the opportunity to compete in a number of sporting events throughout the academic year.

The first of these events was New Age Kurling. This is a target sport played indoors with Kurling Stones. It is a seated game so the pupils were sitting whilst taking part. The pupils have been practising their skills in this sport during PE sessions and were very excited to now compete against other schools.

The event took place at Craigavon Leisure Centre on Thursday 21st November and we are thrilled to report that 2 teams from Tandragee JHS were awarded first and second place!
